Balancing Mask for Oily Hair 

If you have oily hair, you’ll want to avoid heavy oils like coconut oil. Try a balancing mask using a 1:2 ratio of apple cider vinegar and water. 

Apple cider vinegar, or ACV, balances the pH of your scalp, which helps to avoid overly oily scalp. Optional: add 3 drops of peppermint or eucalyptus essential oil for a cooling effect or a tablespoon of olive oil to condition.

 Leave this in for a max of 10 minutes and rinse thoroughly with water. ACV works as a shampoo replacement so no need to shampoo again, just rinse.

Repairing Mask for Damaged Hair 

If you have a lot of split ends and damaged strands, whisk two eggs together with 3 tablespoons of honey and apply to hair and scalp. Eggs work wonders for hair because they are full of vitamins and minerals, which help to repair damaged hair. 

Honey is antibacterial and moisturizing, making it a great way to fight dandruff and smooth frizz. It’s good to know that honey naturally lightens hair, so you can expect some lighter locks. Leave in for 15 to 30 minutes and then wash like usual.
