  • 1 avocado, ripe
  • 1 tablespoon honey

In a small bowl, mash the avocado until smooth. Next, prepare for sticky fingers and add the honey, mixing until fully incorporated. Leave the mask on for about 10 minutes, giving it time to work it’s magic. 

Honey Lemon Mask

Lemon juice is a natural exfoliant, aiding in hyperpigmentation. This mask is great for targeting dark spots and all-around acne. 

It’s best to apply this one at night, as lemon juice can lead to photosensitivity, making your skin more susceptible to sun damage. Make sure to apply your favorite sunscreen the day after application. 


  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice 
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

Thoroughly mix all three ingredients together in a small bowl. Gently apply to the skin and let sit for 15 minutes before rinsing, first with warm water (this will help break down the honey), and then fully removing the mask with cold water.

First, use a blender to puree strawberries. If you don’t have a blender, mash well with a fork or whisk, making sure to break down larger clumps. Stir in yogurt, fully incorporating it into strawberry puree. Apply the mixture to your face and leave on for 10-15 minutes before rinsing off. 

DIY Oatmeal Mask

  • ¼ cup oatmeal
  • ½ cup water 
  • 1 tablespoon honey 

On the stovetop (or microwave), boil oatmeal in water until fully absorbed. After fully cooked, stir in the  honey, mixing well. Apply to your face and wash off with warm water after 15 minutes. 

Oatmeal Yogurt Mask

This DIY face mask is great for oily or combination skin. Probiotics in yogurt help fight inflammation while also hydrating, leaving your skin feeling clear and refreshed. 


  • ⅛ cup oatmeal
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tablespoons plain yogurt
